DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to help teams improve development processes using Atlassian software and other tools. Applying your knowledge of systems, software development, and continuous delivery and deployment, you will support consulting projects for clients across many industries to help teams achieve higher velocity, consistency, and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Providing consultation to improve client development processes
- Identifying bottlenecks in engineering workflows
- Designing and implementing development pipelines
- Automating builds and deployments
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support services
- Working in a variety of software development languages, platforms, and tools
- Continuously striving to increase knowledge and generously sharing expertise
- Participation in onsite and remote client consultations
- Other responsibilities as required
Skills and Requirements:
- Understanding of various development frameworks
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation best practices
- Experience with Cloud computing and containerization preferred
- Experience with two or more CI/CD tools e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, Circle CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
- Comfortable on multiple platforms, operating systems, and servers
- Source code management using Git or Subversion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented working style
- Ambitious and continuous learner and problem solver
- Availability to travel and work in local and remote client locations as required
